STORY

Gangsta rap trio from Sacramento, CA made up of Chopah, Pook & Shotgun, who teamed up in 1996.

They first gained a local reputation performing at night clubs & car shows. Then they were signed by legendary Sac-Town label Black Market Records. In 1999, they released their debut album, entitled "28g w/o The Bag", led by the single "Parkin Lot Pimpin". This album was a regional commercial success so that they opened up for The Luniz, Suga Free or Daz Dillinger.

Triple Beam released its sophomore album in 2000, entitled "Conspiracy", which sold less maybe due to the lack of promotion from Black Market. Thus the trio decided to part ways with the label & Shotgun & Pook created their own outfit, A-1 Entertainment. In 2002, Triple Beam released its third album, entitled "36 Zips".

Eventually, after an 8-year hiatus due to the incarceration of Chopah, the trio released its fourth & last album to date, "Still Hustlin" (2010)...
