STORY

Lower Level Organization (also quoted as Lower Level Organisation) was a Gangsta Rap Group from West Bank, an area located in the New Orleans/Jefferson Parish Area.

It was a duo made up of Mobo Joe & Ace Nitty aka Notorious A. They released 2 albums in the first half of the 90's under Mobo Joe's label, Mobo Records : an EP in 1992 ("Wanted By Five-O Feared By Most") & the full length "Straight From Tha' Woods" in 1994.

Both are local classics with violent gangsta rap lyrics over the dark sound that characterized most of the Mobo Records releases at this time with groups like Lower Level Organization, Ruthless Juveniles or Dog House Posse. Most of the production work was done by Death even if Mobo Joe contributed to the effort.

Those albums are rare & hard to find nowadays.

Unfortunately the Lower Level Organization soon came to its end in 1997 when Ace Nitty was murdered, but Mobo Joe pursued then his career as a rapper with the Mobo roster & as the CEO of Mobo Records...
