STORY

Gerttown Red, formerly known as Caperman or Terry "Red" Redman, is a gangsta rapper & producer from New Orleans, LA.

He started as a member of a rap group called Endangede Species, who released a tape-single in 1994. He also produced for the legendary Lake Charles, LA rapper Vicious (R.I.P.).

After a 8-year hiatus, he resurfaced as Gerttown Red and was signed by Sporty T (R.I.P.) on his label, Sporty Records, under which he dropped his only solo album to date, "Caper Man" (2002). It's an extremely rare release that is regarded as a NOLA early 2000's underground classic...
