STORY
Coalition was a gangsta rap duo from Louisville, KY, made up of Feel & Tone, the latter also being a member, under the moniker Treddy, of another group called Bigg Riggaz.
Coalition released only one album in 1999 through One Hit Records, entitled "This Is How You Made Me". What can be said about this album? It's one of those holy grails on every wantlist of every gangsta rap collector... A true masterpiece and a Midwest classic. The album is entirely produced by Tone, who did an amazing job crafting a melodic and even sad mobb music sound which perfectly fits the two rappers, who sometimes use that classic Midwest fast paced flow. Each track is a bomb, period... Unfortunately, OG 1st press is impossible to find or unaffordable...
Coalition didn't release anything else and that's a shame. Feel appeared on the other releases from One Hit Records, including the classic Southside Productions compilation "Southern Diary". As for Tone aka Treddy, he was featured as Manman on several songs of "Southern Diary" and on several songs of the only album of Bigg Riggaz, "Mobfigures", which was also released in 1999 on Bigg Rigga Records and which is another classic... Don't know what they became after this...
