Here we go again with that fonky stuff...
This tape dropped in 1997 on TJD Records. As far we know, it's the only release of Fatal and the second release of the label after Tee-One's "Down 4 Mine" (1995). Tee-One is also featured on this one. Actually, it's just one song that's repeated on both sides of the tape.
When you listen to "Eyes On Tha Prize", you got that typical good ol' mid-90's bangin' G-Funk in your ears, with a heavy bass line and the classic shrilly whistle. Always nice...
Fatal's flow is OK (even if he's not the best rapper on earth) and the hook is catchy ("East Coast, West Coast, Worldwide / Recognize, realise this is how we ride / Fools full of jealousy don't you despise / No matter the sides we keep our eyez on tha prize")...
Nice release but very rare & hard to find...
